day two

This morning we were a bit lazy...which is easy to do when you don't have a 17 month old with you!! :) We stopped for breakfast at the Old German Bakery in town. I was a bit nervous-german...breakfast?! What is that?! Right?! Well-luckily they had Migas, biscuits and gravy and coffee on the menu, so we were good to go! Then we strolled around Main Street for awhile and then went to Luckenbach. I had heard it was small-that is an understatement!! You totally could miss it-and we did at first! We listened to some live music and bought some shirts and decided that we should come back later for drinks after dinner. Then we went to a wine tasting and tour at Becker Vineyards. It was beautiful!!!! We tasted lots of wine and then decided to buy some...a whole box full! (Remember, we had had a bit to drink by this point!!!) Anyways, they were so sweet and those of you who know me, know that I am very picky when it comes to wine as well-surpise, surprise. They have an awesome Muscat Canelli which I just loved! Afterwards we stopped for dinner at Hondo's in town and then back to Luckenbach for drinks. It was beautiful outside and we met lots of cool people-including one of the original Eagles. Go figure-apparently "everyone is somebody in luckenbach"! P.S. I am still missing my Chloe girl :(
