this past weekend, nate and i went to the rightnow conference at Irving bible. We had SUCH an awesome time! We got to hang out with our good friends Dave and Becca and hear some really awesome authors like Francis Chan and Donald Miller. Nate and I had the awesome opportunity to work the Compassion sign up table on Saturday morning and it was amazing! I loved seeing everyone pick out their child to sponsor, many choosing to sponsor 2, 3 or even 4 children! It was so amazing to see God work in such big ways! We were so fired up by the end of the conference!

Each person got to put together a kit for volunteers in Africa and hand write a note to those volunteers! It was awesome!

on friday...after dance...a bunch of us met up at hunterwood for lunch! chloe LOVED playing in the leave! chloe had to take a killer bath when we got home because she tons of tiny little leaves all stuck in her hair!

happy halloween!

we started the evening off at our church at Trunk R Treat where we saw all our friends and loaded up on candy and sausage on a stick! Mmmm! Afterwards we stopped by Mimi & Papa's house for dinner and trick or treated there before heading back to hit up a few houses in our neighborhood! Chloe's favorite party though was giving out candy back out our house! she LOVED it! she would get so excited when they rang the doorbell and she would swing open the door and yell "happy halloween!!!!"

a halloween farmers market

on Saturday I swung by after a morning photo shoot to pick up Nate and Chloe and we headed to the farmers market and to breakfast at the deli! if you dressed up you got a free pumpkin...but Chloe's Snow White dress still had to be fixed from when she put her foot through it at fall fest! Anyways-we threw a hat on her a ta-da! a witch! she said she needed to bring her dog "Toto" with her too. she had a great time picking out her pumpkin and was so proud of it!

a little performance!

chloe's dance class performed for us on Friday morning! I was so proud of my little bunny! I really thought she would just stand there the whole time since she is the youngest in the class...but I thought she did pretty darn good! She even knows some of the words! Check it out! :)

baylor homecoming 09

on friday we headed down to waco and went straight to ninfas-mmm! the waitress told us the wait was 2 1/2 hours! Wow! We figured we might as well try and wait and found a spot inside on the bench, got drinks and got to visit with old friends. Luckily the wait ended up being only about 30 minutes-phew! Afterwards we hit up the bonfire...we hadn't been to the bonfire since we were in college and it had changed so much! there were fireworks, carnival rides, food, and more. chloe loved hearing the band and seeing the football players but her favorite part by far was the fireworks! then we went to nates aunt and uncles house in woodway to catch up with them and spend the night! Saturday morning we went and watch the parade, ate at taco c, shopped at spice and then went by the georges tent to watch a bit of the game before heading to georges to eat-mmm! after a stop at common grounds and a walk around campus we were northbound 35! Can't wait for next year!! :)
