florida...day 2

On our second day in Florida, we went to the beach!!!

oh goodness...I have a bit of catching up to do...again! we left for florida on friday morning...leaving our house at 4 A.M.!! Ahhhh! Chloe did okay on the flight there, considering how early it was & it being her first time to fly! Nates parents and sister flew in to Florida as well and met us there so that we could see Nates grandparents in Naples! It was soooo much fun! By the time that we all got there on Friday we were a bit exhausted so we just hung out, caught up with Grandpa Jim & Grandma June and relaxed!!!

Mamma Mia!

Last night the girls and I went to see Mamma Mia at Bass Hall! I had seen it before at Fair Park, but it was so much fun seeing it with a group of my favorite girls!!! We went to dinner at Cantina Laredo and then enjoyed the show!! we all LOVED it! :)

Chloe's First Day of School

Chloe started school yesterday! She started out the morning a little nervous...we kept talking about school and our backpack...but she was a little nervous and clingy.  We got to school and she was very quiet...I was sooo expecting her to just start crying at this point, but we took her to her classroom and she walked right in and started playing! Thank you Jesus!!! Luckily I had to run off to MOPS and so I didn't have any time to get sad and think about her being without me! When I picked her up she was playing with the toys and the bubbles...with a smile on her face! She napped for about 30 minutes...which at home she usually naps for close to 3 hours...so she was very sleepy! I would have loved to have seen all the kids on the napmats trying to nap!! Ha! We went to get an ice cream treat afterwards and then came home for a nap! I think she had a good day!

Yesterday when Chloe woke up from her nap she got out the yoga mat and her wings...go figure! Here she is enjoying her snack & watching some cartoons!

Today bible study started again so Chloe and I headed up to church this morning.  Chloe was soooo proud of what she made today that she walked down the halls of the church showing EVERYONE, saying "wow!".  Here she is showing it off some more, even at home!

Monday playgroup!

On Monday we had playgroup at our house! Chloe had lots of fun playing with all her little friends...and us Mommies had fun catching up!

a lovely, little Saturday

Because of a client having to reschedule a photo shoot for later in the month, I had the morning left to my two favorite people.  Nate, chloe and I went to enjoy some yuuuummy breakfast at the deli.  afterwards we hit up the Farmers Market .  Chloe has become very familiar with the market and today was very independent.  She insisted on walking by herself almost immediately and was walking right up to the tables, sometimes trying to grab some fruit, vegetables or even jalapenos-uh oh!
