capa has started again! it was great to hear all the girls at different universities who pledged this fall! we got a lot of chi omegas! hoot-hoot! its great knowing our hard work pays off! i'm SO glad mary is back with us this year & katherine is one of the "big dogs!" now...wink wink! :0 should be an interesting year! :)

mmmm! saturday morning...after an early morning photo shoot we headed down to dallas to eat at the super yummy Taco Joint and had Fabulous breakfast tacos! Afterwards we headed to the Dallas Farmers Market and picked up a couple of random fruits & veggies for labor day weekend! chloe had an awesome time eating all kinds of samples!

on friday we all headed to school to meet Chloe's new teachers at school! We are SUPER excited because we have many friends in the classroom, including Coleman!!! Her teachers are super awesome and I think we are going to have a great year! :)

last week we went with Mimi to Spotlight Dance to pick out tutus, leotards, tights, ballet shoes and tap shoes! Chloe was so excited that she was dancing all through the store! She especially loved when she tried on the tap shoes and the lady asked her to try them out on the big dance floor in front of the mirror! I was so excited for her to get her first pair of tap and ballet shoes and I hope that she loves dance as much as I did! :)

chloe and i made some homeade "pickers" last week and we are still enjoying them! chloe LOVED getting to "help" by putting them into the bowl after I had cut them up!

summer days have come & gone...

has summer come and gone already? how is that possible?! like the lyrics to that indigo girls song, "summer's beginning to give up her fight" can i admit, i'm not ready yet? fall will be here soon enough though.

God has been good to us this summer...our hearts are full and happy, full of all the memories one would ever need...

on friday chloe and i went on a "girl date" and went shopping, to lunch and then to sprinkles! afterwards we dropped off a cupcake for a very happy daddy at work! later we all headed up to the Coppell football game! Yea for football season!!! We had a great time watching the band, drillteam, cheerleaders, the big football players and eating popcorn and ring pops! Mmm! :)

back to school ice cream party!

My parents neighborhood (where i grew up) throws a back to school ice cream party each year the night before school starts! It is so much fun to see the neighbors and of course eat yummy ice cream!
