A Good News Sunday!

On Sunday we got a new preacher!! Praise the Lord!!!! It has been a long process, especially for the pastor search commitee...but we got us a good one!  We welcomed him and his family after church with lunch in the fellowship hall! Mimi and Papa were there and all of our friends! We all enjoyed good mexican food and great fellowship! 

One beeeeautiful Saturday!

On Saturday I was supposed to have a shoot...but we resheduled because of the rain..that never came! :) Oh well-we decided it was a beautiful day and we should take advantage of it and take pictures of chloe instead! we went to a new spot and LOVED it! Here they are...

Friday...

On Friday we met Mimi at Taco Bueno-yummmm.  Chloe is obsessed with their queso-as you can see! She was trying to drink it out of the container! But seriously, can you blame her?! She got her very own tiny camera in her kids meal and had fun taking pictures of everyone in the restaurant! Mimi gave Chloe a clown outfit too for her baby, so as soon as we got home we had to try it on her! Pretty cute! Later we went to CiCi's for dinner and Chloe got the coolest balloon animal...a penguin! Nate and I were so impressed! (Although, I'm not sure Chloe even knew what a penguin was!) 

More, More!!

So, I am soooo tired of this way too overplayed song...BUT...Chloe IS NOT!!!! She will sit in my lap and watch this on our computer, and as soon as it ends, says "MORE, MORE!" She seriously will sit and watch it FOREVER! She watched it six times in a row the other night! I think Nate and I know all the words now to this version instead of the original! Oh well, at least Chloe is having fun! :)

keeping me up!

With the Olympics and blogging and scheduling shoots, emailing & post processing I have been quite the night owl!! Nate was always the one who could stay up forever...but it seems like I don't have any time to get anything done during the day anymore! So I'm usually up till 1 and all I have to say is I love me some itunes! Here is an imix I thought I'd share-there are a few "oldies" and a few that are a little more "indie" but I love it!! :0 Hope you do too! Oh yea-and there are 2 pages...and RSS readers-you are going to have to actually go to my blog! Bummer huh?! ;)

Super Supper club

We hosted supper club at our house on Friday and decided to make it a back to school theme! Pat and Tara won the price for actually dressing the part!! Ya'll are awesome guys! Katherine made a killer dessert which was a huge hit with everyone!! We had fun catching up with our friends and Chloe enjoyed having a slumber party and Mimi and Papas! Olympic Fever!!!!

We totally have Olympic Fever at our house! We LOVE watching them and cheering on the USA!! On Friday we all watched the opening ceremony and Chloe had the perfect outfit!!! (Thanks to Mimi!)  Her favorite part was the little kids singing and she enjoyed trying to dance along!

On Friday we went to see our friend Jane-who is one of my moms sorority sisters.  She monogramed Chloe's new backpack, lunch pack and napmat! Chloe liked watching Jane do her magic on the monograming machine and making silly faces with Mimi while we waited!

we're always starting new trends here at our house!

chloe woke up from her nap yesterday and found her bitty baby's trunk full of clothes.  She then proceded to try and put on everything! She tried probably ten different times to squeeze her foot into her baby's tiny shoe! Nate and I just kept laughing!! See?!

home tour

okay, so one of the blogs I check in on every now and then is "Hooked on Houses".  I am a home fanatic-I secretly peek into peoples homes at night to check them out-well not really-but on her blog I can see different tours of homes! Anyone who knows me very well knows I love houses.  So today on her blog she is having a home tour blog party where you can give a tour.  Well-the thought of her posting my blog on hers so that EVERYONE who checks hers sees mine-kinda creeps me out a bit! So-I am hosting my own! 

So most of you know my story-but if not here it is...I'm kinda crazy...

I mean, we have only been married for five years...but we have moved a lot.  Our first apartment we lived in for only a few months-I found our dream house-well...what could be our dream house...UGH! It was going into foreclosure and we decided we just HAD to have it! We re-did EVERYTHING in the house and I mean everything! And most of it we did ourselves!

I so would move back into that house...it was our first house and we loved it! Moving right along...our next house

Our next house was in Dallas...I had this crazy idea I wanted an old house-you know-one with character?!  They are hard to come by in our little town-so we headed to Dallas-great house...too far from "home"! It was great though because unlike house #1 we didn't have to do much at all!

That leads us to house #3...where we are now! We are back "home" and loving it! We have been here for a year (which on our schedule...means one more year! :0)  Again, like house #2 we didn't have too much work to do (mainly just painting).  So-here ya go!

well...that'll do it until our next move! I'm already looking online for our next house!
