dinner and a package!

friday night we headed to go eat pizza with mimi and papa and when we got home there was a huge package on our doorstep from grandma & grandpa! chloe loved all her new easter surprises! (especially the box it came in!)

good friday at baylor!

friday morning chloe and i headed down to waco to see some of my sweet sororities sisters from college and all their kids! we had a great time seeing the bears, walking around campus, and catching up over lunch at the fabulous Ninfas!

on thursday, our friends the taylors came over to play and make easter bunnies! after eating lunch we all headed outside to swing because it was a beautiful day!

chloe was so excited to go to school on wednesday because she was going to get to give gifts to her teachers and have an easter egg hunt with her friends! here she is...all ready to go!

earth day

last weekend we went to the Coppell Earth Day Fest and Chloe had a great time eating sno cones,  getting her face painted, planting a flower, making a butterfly and seeing friends!

on friday we had breakfast on the deck and then hit the fields again! around noon chloe arrived and we walked around with her a bit before we hit the road to head home! it was another great time at round top and i can't wait for october!! :)

top row: mmmm...another jadeite bowl!,  my new gynormous Scout box for all of Chloe's toys and OMG the cutest Miss Muffett Madame Alexander doll with the original price tag of $12.95! (if only they were that cheap now!)

middle row: my big 'ol pink wrought iron bow...i see baby showers and birthday parties in its futre! okay this might be my favorite-this chick goes to france-buys all vintage jewelry and then puts it all together to make new jewelry-everything she had was sooo cool! okay wait...maybe this is my favorite...my new Pick Up Sticks charm bracelet! Oh it is so cute! I picked out each charm and she put it all together for me right there! My favorite might be the one that says "We knew we were different from the other girls, we just didn't flaunt it!"

On Thursday we woke up early...like reeeeally early, to the sound of rain-LOTS of rain! Luckily after checking trusty weather.com we  realized it was pouring...but not for long and it would be gone by the time we were actually supposed to wake up! :) So...after falling back to sleep we all had breakfast on the deck and then headed to marburger to shop the tents.  After a quick stop at Clutter we hit the fields again before settling down at Zapp Hall with cold beer and live music.  Then it was prom time! We had a great time with our friends and made lots of interesting new ones!!

round top baby!!! (day one)

on wednesday we headed to round top! we met up with nates mom who whisked chloe away to houston till friday and then we hit the fields!! our first stop is always to see our sweet friends, Amie, Jolie & Janie at Junk Gypsy where I normally end up spending way too much...way too early! Oh...and look who we met! Miranda Lambert!! Then we ate at Manuels and shopped till we dropped or at least until we needed another dose of mexican food! we stayed up way to late playing games and having fun! :0

wyatt's birthday!

well, this was a while ago...but I haven't had a chance to post it! We went to Wyatts 2nd birthday party and had so much fun! Chloe got to pet all the little animals and kept saying "I'm a farmer!" and pointing to her overalls!! Happy Birthday sweet Wyatt!!
