happy anniversary!

this weekend nate and i celebrated our 7th anniversary! wowza! HOW has it been that long?! we had a date night on Friday night with super yummy italian food and then Saturday morning went to the Dallas Flea, enjoyed breakfast at Breadwinners and did a little shopping! Then we met up with Chloe girl to go to the farmers market to look for flowers! a super fun day! :)

last weekend we headed to houston to go to the rodeo! we had so much fun with grandma, grandpa, melissa and chris! chloe LOVED the "muttin bustin" and winning a pink pig! She had so much fun riding rides and walking around that by the time the rodeo started she was worn out! She fell asleep about half way through! Sleepy girl! Can't wait for next year! :)

last week we got to celebrate our sweet friend Becca's baby that is due in just a few weeks! Since it was her 3rd baby we decided to do something a little different and saw this and this and thought...UH-dorable! we had so much fun! and something even funnier...i made the skirt i have on! its a bit "gimpy" but i loved it anyway!

we had everyone "personalize" a scripture with baby Cameron's name and write it on two cards, one for Becca and one for the guest to take home to pray over!

this was the last shot of the shower and chloe & her daddy had been on a date all evening and had just gotten back, chloe INSISTED that she was one of the girls and wanted to be in the hostess shot! :) i love that girl!

girls night & adventures in shirt making

last weekend the girls got together to celebrate a few birthdays at patrizio's and afterwards we went to see Valentines Day...it was the perfect little girly night! PLUS I went crazy and made a shirt! Yep! then I was totally lame and made nate take a picture of me "sportin" it to church the next day! :) i look like a super goober but I was so proud :) i saw this one and thought...i can do that! its basically a pillowcase dress that is tapered & well, hers is much fancier but i was still quite proud of my last minute "adventure in shirt making" and chloe even helped push the sewing pedal! she is quite the little helper! :)
